Spring Break

I had a really fun spring break last week. Mama and I did a lot of fun things. We went to the aquarium twice, the zoo once and the doctor twice. It was very busy. This first picture is not technically from spring break. Mama took it last night. I went out to dinner with Mama and Honey and I insisted upon wearing my K-State hat. We go out to dinner on wednesdays because Dadda has class. I think I look awesome in this hat. I kept it on almost the entire dinner. I make my Dadda proud.

You will not believe what the Easter Bunny brought me! A front porch swing!! I love it! It is very relaxing but it is fun too. Mama says that it is the perfect weather for us to sit on the porch and swing. In this picture I am trying to figure out the dynamics of how I am locked in there.

In this picture you can see how relaxed I am. A lot of times Mama and I will swing after lunch and it relaxes me for my afternoon nap. Yesterday we sat out there and read some new books that my Aunt Rachel sent me. They are awesome! It was very fun to have Mama read while I swing.

Here we are at the aquarium. This is one of my most favorite tanks. I love it because it is huge and I can get really close to the glass to see all the colorful fish. It is in the tropical section at the aquarium so they have every bright color you can think of. I love it when they come up and get a good look at me.

This is a picture of me with the jelly fish. I love this tank because I can get really close to it too. The aquarium was pretty packed and I would growl at the people if they blocked my view. People need to learn to be considerate and share. I rock at sharing. I need to give lessons.

This is a picture of Scooter's nursery all finished! I am modeling how to play guitar on the floor of Scooter's room. I think it looks great. Mama, Aunt Kara and Aunt Julie did a great job! Come on Scooter-we are ready for ya!

Scooter's Room

Mama has been working really hard to get Scooter's room all finished and ready. She is finally finished, and I think it looks great. She and my Aunt Kara painted khaki stripes on two of the walls and then a tree in chocolate brown. I love the tree. Mama moved my beige rocking chair into Scooter's room, and I get to have the red chase in my room. I love it and it looks great in my room. We love to sit on it to read books. In these pictures I am modeling Scooter's room for Mama. In this first picture I am chillin in the rocking chair.

In this picture you can see the tree and how it goes over the windows. I am pulling down the mobile so that you can get a good look at it. It sings and has a,b,c's on it.

This is another picture of me modeling the mobile and another look at the tree from this side with different lighting. Mama couldn't decide which one to pick, so I told her to put both up on here.
Plus, I look really cute in both of them.

This is me standing in the crib so that you can get a good look at the tree. Mama painted a carved heart on the tree trunk that says, "C + M". It means Dadda loves Mama. I thought it was a nice idea. Mama said it was Aunt Kara's idea.

My Aunt Kara and my Aunt Julie came over last sunday and put the finishing touches on the nursery. They put the crib together and put the bedding on. They helped Mama pick out the perfect lamps to go in the room. They are some talented ladies. It looks really nice now that they have finished.

In this picture you can see the bedding a little bit better. You can tell I would have no problems snuggling up in here. I think they did an awesome job and Scooter is definitely going to feel loved to live in this room!

Easter is coming, let the festivities begin!

Easter is coming and I got an awesome package from my YaYa this week. In it there were some new onesies, and an Easter basket filled with goodies. In this first picture you can see me modeling one of my new Easter onesies and I am sitting with my new buddy, Ohhglee. He is so soft, and I know he was made with lots of love.

This is me modeling my new bib. It says that I am "Chillin with my Peeps." It looks really awesome on me.

Today we went down to the lodge for the Easter Egg Hunt. I was very proud to have gotten hold of 3 eggs. I spotted a whole basket full of eggs that this girl had, and I cried when Mama told me that I couldn't have any of hers. She just needed to learn how to share.
After the Easter Egg hunt they had a petting zoo there. So this picture is of me and Dadda and a mama goat. Dadda had to teach me not to pet them in the eye.

This picture is of me and Dadda with the lamb. They had a Mama sheep and a baby and this was the baby. As you can see, I am studying Dadda's petting technique.

This is me and Dadda with the big bunny. He was really soft. Mama had to teach me not to pull on its ears.

This is me, Dadda and the baby pot bellied pig. He was funny, he wagged his tail the whole time that I petted him. I loved petting all the animals. They look just like the ones that I have read about in my books.

Catching Up

I know it has been a while. Mama has not been able to help me with my blog lately because she has been painting Scooter's room. It is almost finished and she said she will post pictures of it soon. I thought that I would just catch you up to speed on what I have been up to. This first picture is one of me on St. Patty's day in my special St. Patty's shirt my YaYa sent me. It is a really cool vintage tattoo that says, "Good Luck". It was the best St. Patty's day shirt I had ever seen! I am glad I had my green on, I heard that people will pinch you if you don't. I am not interested in getting pinched any time soon.

My new favorite food is spaghetti. This is usually what I look like after I eat it. I am not sure if you can tell, but I think spaghetti sauce is a good thing to style your hair with. Don't knock it until you try it. I also usually get it all the way up to my armpits and laugh and laugh as Mama tickles me trying to get it off.

This is me after I get all clean. My Aunt Candi sent me this towel. I think I look awesome in it. I have just learned to roar like a lion and a tiger. It is the only animal sound I can do, but man, do I sound awesome when I do it.

Here is a picture from my birthday party. I missed my nap, so I was about to fall out. I could hardly contain my excitement about my balloons. And if you are wondering, yes, those are grapes all over my cake. Grapes are my favorite, and Mama thought I might eat my cake if it was covered in grapes.

My YaYa sent me this awesome Popeye the Sailor Man bib that she made. I loved it sooo much that I requested we have creamed spinach for dinner. I want to grow big and strong like Popeye and my dad.

My Funny Videos

Here are some of my funny videos. The first one is of me chasing Cooper with balloons. The next one is me saying, "lalala". The last one is of me signing "please" for more grapes.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Man, have we been busy lately. Mama said she doesn't even know where January went. Here is an update on me. I had my first birthday on February 3!! I am now the big 1! I got lots of wonderful things from lots of wonderful people. YaYa and GiGi even sent me a new wardrobe, which we are still taking pictures of. So stay tuned to see how awesome I look in it! I went to the doctor and I now weigh a whopping 19lbs and 3oz. I am now 29" tall. I am not walking yet, but that is because I crawl like lightening! I have 7 teeth-4 up top and 3 on the bottom, and that 8th one will be making an appearance any day. I have loved surprising Mama by saying new words! I now point at things and say, "ook!" (look), I still say, "yay yay!", I am trying to say balloon because it is my favorite new thing and it sounds like "blue" or "baboo". Another big thing is I have started using sign language. I can sign "please". Dadda asked if I wanted to him to change my diaper and I signed "please". Mama swears that I said, "Get it!" when my birthday present came from the Dude and YaYa. I laugh a lot, and I love to chase Cooper with balloons. It is hilarious! Cooper retaliates by giving sloppy kisses.

These are pictures of me in my Valentine onesies! I couldn't decide which to wear today, so I am wearing them both. YaYa sent me these onesies and a new sock monkey. In this picture I kept squirming and laughing. The onesie says, "Heart Throb" on it.

I will be posting pictures from my birthday party soon too. Mama made me my own cake covered in grapes! Grapes are my favorite. I almost ate the whole thing! Everyone kept watching to see if I would fall asleep in it, but I didn't. I missed my nap because there were balloons in the house!

I hope everyone is doing great, and I will check back soon! Until then, I am sending out much love on this Valentine's Day!

My Christmas Photo Shoot with Cooper

Mama is still sorting through all the Christmas pictures. So we thought in the meantime, we would show you the pictures from the Christmas Photo shoot with Cooper. Mama was trying to get a good picture of us for the Christmas card, and needless to say, we did not make it easy. But they are funny! Cooper and I are two funny guys. This first one Cooper wanted to lay in my lap.

In this one, I am trying to imitate his jowls. I think we look just alike.

I told Mama this one was artistic. We are both staring thoughtfully to the right. Mama wasn't looking for artsy to go on the Christmas card.

This is what happened during the photo shoot a lot. Cooper just loves to give me kisses. Mama had to do a lot of intervening. It tickles.

Cooper in my lap. Again. He is heavy so Mama was concerned he would crush me. In Cooper's defense, I think he was trying to take a good picture.

In this one, I was cooperating. Cooper was not.

In this one, Cooper was cooperating. I was not.

I think we are both strongly suggesting to Mama that we are done in this picture. I had places to go, and it was time for Cooper's nap.

I am so glad Cooper is my buddy.
