Pumpkin Patch

Hey everybody! Long time no see. We are doing great! Me and Griffin are growing like weeds and Griffin quickly became my best bud. I can't wait until he can actually play with me. But I adjust. My favorite thing is to pull out his pacifier and sneak him cheerios. I've got his back. Mama seems to never feed him much of anything, so I am trying to help a brother out.
Fall is here and it is our favorite time of year! Last Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins. This is a picture of me selecting a couple.
Here I am with a pile of pumpkins that I gathered. It was really fun! There were sooo many pumpkins to choose from. I just had to make me a pile and sit and enjoy them for a few minutes.
Then we got to the big pumpkins. I could sit on these. They were really cool. Griffin couldn't even believe it.
Here is a picture of me and Griffin chillin in the pumpkin patch. The sun was in his eyes so I was checkin to see if he was ok. Griffin wore the spider hat to be festive.
Here we are: just me and my buddy! Griffin was about to fall out because it was nap time so I am snuggling with him. I don't know how he could be tired with so much excitement.

Not only did they have pumpkins, but they had pumpkin stems. I even had to give them a taste to see if they were any good. I don't recommend them for eating, but they were fun to carry around.

Here is a neat picture of me driving a tractor. It is nice to see a good picture of the men of the family. When they ask me to drive the tractor, you can tell I take it very seriously.
Finally after all of those pumpkins Mama told me to pick the ones that I wanted to take home and these are the ones I picked. Mama said they are gourds not pumpkins, but I didn't care. I had to taste them too, and I really don't recommend eating them. I thought they might taste like an apple, but they really don't.

Scooter is here!

We have had an exciting last few weeks! Scooter is here! He is a boy! So I have a new baby brother! We named him Griffin Alexander Cheesman. I call him "In". He was born Saturday, May 26 at 1:29pm. He weighed 6lbs and 7oz. He is a pretty good looking kid. This picture is of him in the hospital on the day he was born.

YaYa sent me and Griffin an awesome package with all kinds of new clothes that she made us. This is a picture of Griffin when he was one week old in his new owl night shirt that YaYa made him. His expression says it all, he loves it! It is so soft and comfy.
This picture shows Griffin wearing his new hat YaYa knitted him. He loves it too. It keeps him warm when Mama takes pictures of him nearly naked. He is a pretty laid back guy as long as he is not cold.
This is a picture of Griffin sporting his worried look. He is laying in the new pod that YaYa knitted him to take pictures in. I think he is worried that he might mess it up.

This is another picture of Griffin in the pod. This time he decided to take a nap. He is also wearing his new birdy onesie that YaYa made him. I think it looks real nice.

This is a picture of me eating my first ice cream cone. I kept saying it was "hot". That is what I say about anything with an extreme temperature. My favorite part was the cone because I could crunch it with my teeth and it wasn't "hot".

In this picture Griffin is chillin in his new blanket YaYa made him. It is his absolute favorite. He sleeps with it every night and loves to snuggle with the soft fabric. This picture was taken when Griffin was 3 weeks old and you can already tell he is looking a little different. He is finally not looking so skinny. Mama and Dada think he is starting to look a little like me, and his eyes are starting to turn blue.

This is another picture of Griffin in his pod. YaYa really makes some neat stuff. She sent us another package the other day and I will have to show you my new hat that she sent. I wear it all the time. So watch for more pictures to come!

And last but not least, this is a picture of me and Mama being silly gooses. We have a lot of fun around here. So if you can, come stop by and play sometime!

Did you know they have balls at Target?!

They have balls at Target! I love balls. All kinds of balls and I get really excited about them. Mama tried to appease me by filling the cart with balls. Dadda thinks I look a little overwhelmed but in truth I am in heaven! Mama thought this was a really fun thing until I figured out how to throw the balls out of the cart. Have you ever seen a very pregnant woman chasing rubber balls all over the isles at Target? It was hilarious! I can't wait to go back to Target!

Saturday at the Pool!

This weekend the pool opened!! So Mama and Dadda took me on Saturday! The water was cold! But I still loved it. I am very at home in the water. This is a picture of me and Dadda. You can see I am wearing my shark swim shirt. People said I was the cutest shark that they had ever seen.
In this video you can see Dadda pouring the cold water over my head. I loved it!

Some of my new skills

There has been a lot to do to get ready for Scooter. So Mama has put me to work. I was in charge of dusting and I was supervising the vacuuming. I have been learning all kinds of new stuff! In the second picture you can see that I have also learned to use Cooper's dog door. It is a handy new skill to have. And the video at the bottom is of my new most impressive skill: walking! Yes, I do kind of look like a drunken sailor, but hey, we all have to start somewhere!

Waiting for Scooter

Scooter is supposed to be here any day now. So Mama and I have been busy doing all kinds of stuff. YaYa sent me and Scooter a fantastic new package. Here I am modeling the awesome new stuff she sent me. In this picture I am modeling my awesome new hat. Mama looked last weekend for a had with a chin strap. I have a hat that blows off when it is windy. This hat is perfect! I am also wearing my new goldfish bib that says "Grant's Stash on the front. I admit I can be quite the hoarder when in comes to food and love pockets where I can put my stash!

For those of you who don't know, we have become all about the turtles lately! Last fall our beloved Levon passed away. So for Dadda's birthday Mama got him 2 brand new turtles!!!! We are so excited about them. They live in the backyard in the baby pool and are so fun to watch. Dadda named them Marge and Olee. In honor of our new turtles, YaYa made me this awesome new turtle hat, and new tie dyed turtle shirt. I think they look awesome!

On the day of the photo shoot, I was very busy playing. So Mama had to compromise by letting me continue to play. Listen, A man's got to do what a man's got to do. And this day I had to play with my red cup. But I look even better playing in my new Jungle bug outfit!

This might be Mama's favorite new shirt. It is hard to see just how rad it is. At the bottom are frogs and lilly pads. I am going to look so good at church or when we go out for a night on the town. Thanks to YaYa, I am quite a man of style.

This is my really cool new baseball outfit. I get hot easy, and when I do, I am miserable. So I am so glad that YaYa sent me something that will make the summer cool. I keep hinting to Dadda that I would look even better in this if I was at the Braves game! I went to a Rome Braves game with Dadda several weekends ago and it was awesome! Dadda gave me popcorn, and it rocked!

Ok, I admit it. This hat is supposed to be for Scooter, but I got soo excited about it, that Mama let me try it on. Come on people, how amazing do I look in this hat?! And I think it goes really well with my new tie dyed green shirt YaYa made me! I think it looks really good under my overalls too.

Spring Break

I had a really fun spring break last week. Mama and I did a lot of fun things. We went to the aquarium twice, the zoo once and the doctor twice. It was very busy. This first picture is not technically from spring break. Mama took it last night. I went out to dinner with Mama and Honey and I insisted upon wearing my K-State hat. We go out to dinner on wednesdays because Dadda has class. I think I look awesome in this hat. I kept it on almost the entire dinner. I make my Dadda proud.

You will not believe what the Easter Bunny brought me! A front porch swing!! I love it! It is very relaxing but it is fun too. Mama says that it is the perfect weather for us to sit on the porch and swing. In this picture I am trying to figure out the dynamics of how I am locked in there.

In this picture you can see how relaxed I am. A lot of times Mama and I will swing after lunch and it relaxes me for my afternoon nap. Yesterday we sat out there and read some new books that my Aunt Rachel sent me. They are awesome! It was very fun to have Mama read while I swing.

Here we are at the aquarium. This is one of my most favorite tanks. I love it because it is huge and I can get really close to the glass to see all the colorful fish. It is in the tropical section at the aquarium so they have every bright color you can think of. I love it when they come up and get a good look at me.

This is a picture of me with the jelly fish. I love this tank because I can get really close to it too. The aquarium was pretty packed and I would growl at the people if they blocked my view. People need to learn to be considerate and share. I rock at sharing. I need to give lessons.

This is a picture of Scooter's nursery all finished! I am modeling how to play guitar on the floor of Scooter's room. I think it looks great. Mama, Aunt Kara and Aunt Julie did a great job! Come on Scooter-we are ready for ya!
