In this video you can see Dadda pouring the cold water over my head. I loved it!

Some of my new skills
There has been a lot to do to get ready for Scooter. So Mama has put me to work. I was in charge of dusting and I was supervising the vacuuming. I have been learning all kinds of new stuff! In the second picture you can see that I have also learned to use Cooper's dog door. It is a handy new skill to have. And the video at the bottom is of my new most impressive skill: walking! Yes, I do kind of look like a drunken sailor, but hey, we all have to start somewhere!
Waiting for Scooter
Scooter is supposed to be here any day now. So Mama and I have been busy doing all kinds of stuff. YaYa sent me and Scooter a fantastic new package. Here I am modeling the awesome new stuff she sent me. In this picture I am modeling my awesome new hat. Mama looked last weekend for a had with a chin strap. I have a hat that blows off when it is windy. This hat is perfect! I am also wearing my new goldfish bib that says "Grant's Stash on the front. I admit I can be quite the hoarder when in comes to food and love pockets where I can put my stash!
For those of you who don't know, we have become all about the turtles lately! Last fall our beloved Levon passed away. So for Dadda's birthday Mama got him 2 brand new turtles!!!! We are so excited about them. They live in the backyard in the baby pool and are so fun to watch. Dadda named them Marge and Olee. In honor of our new turtles, YaYa made me this awesome new turtle hat, and new tie dyed turtle shirt. I think they look awesome!
On the day of the photo shoot, I was very busy playing. So Mama had to compromise by letting me continue to play. Listen, A man's got to do what a man's got to do. And this day I had to play with my red cup. But I look even better playing in my new Jungle bug outfit!
This might be Mama's favorite new shirt. It is hard to see just how rad it is. At the bottom are frogs and lilly pads. I am going to look so good at church or when we go out for a night on the town. Thanks to YaYa, I am quite a man of style.
This is my really cool new baseball outfit. I get hot easy, and when I do, I am miserable. So I am so glad that YaYa sent me something that will make the summer cool. I keep hinting to Dadda that I would look even better in this if I was at the Braves game! I went to a Rome Braves game with Dadda several weekends ago and it was awesome! Dadda gave me popcorn, and it rocked!

Spring Break
I had a really fun spring break last week. Mama and I did a lot of fun things. We went to the aquarium twice, the zoo once and the doctor twice. It was very busy. This first picture is not technically from spring break. Mama took it last night. I went out to dinner with Mama and Honey and I insisted upon wearing my K-State hat. We go out to dinner on wednesdays because Dadda has class. I think I look awesome in this hat. I kept it on almost the entire dinner. I make my Dadda proud.
You will not believe what the Easter Bunny brought me! A front porch swing!! I love it! It is very relaxing but it is fun too. Mama says that it is the perfect weather for us to sit on the porch and swing. In this picture I am trying to figure out the dynamics of how I am locked in there.

In this picture you can see how relaxed I am. A lot of times Mama and I will swing after lunch and it relaxes me for my afternoon nap. Yesterday we sat out there and read some new books that my Aunt Rachel sent me. They are awesome! It was very fun to have Mama read while I swing.

Here we are at the aquarium. This is one of my most favorite tanks. I love it because it is huge and I can get really close to the glass to see all the colorful fish. It is in the tropical section at the aquarium so they have every bright color you can think of. I love it when they come up and get a good look at me.

This is a picture of me with the jelly fish. I love this tank because I can get really close to it too. The aquarium was pretty packed and I would growl at the people if they blocked my view. People need to learn to be considerate and share. I rock at sharing. I need to give lessons.
Scooter's Room
In this picture you can see the tree and how it goes over the windows. I am pulling down the mobile so that you can get a good look at it. It sings and has a,b,c's on it.
This is another picture of me modeling the mobile and another look at the tree from this side with different lighting. Mama couldn't decide which one to pick, so I told her to put both up on here.
Plus, I look really cute in both of them.
This is me standing in the crib so that you can get a good look at the tree. Mama painted a carved heart on the tree trunk that says, "C + M". It means Dadda loves Mama. I thought it was a nice idea. Mama said it was Aunt Kara's idea.
My Aunt Kara and my Aunt Julie came over last sunday and put the finishing touches on the nursery. They put the crib together and put the bedding on. They helped Mama pick out the perfect lamps to go in the room. They are some talented ladies. It looks really nice now that they have finished.
In this picture you can see the bedding a little bit better. You can tell I would have no problems snuggling up in here. I think they did an awesome job and Scooter is definitely going to feel loved to live in this room!

Easter is coming, let the festivities begin!
This is me modeling my new bib. It says that I am "Chillin with my Peeps." It looks really awesome on me.
Today we went down to the lodge for the Easter Egg Hunt. I was very proud to have gotten hold of 3 eggs. I spotted a whole basket full of eggs that this girl had, and I cried when Mama told me that I couldn't have any of hers. She just needed to learn how to share.
After the Easter Egg hunt they had a petting zoo there. So this picture is of me and Dadda and a mama goat. Dadda had to teach me not to pet them in the eye.
This picture is of me and Dadda with the lamb. They had a Mama sheep and a baby and this was the baby. As you can see, I am studying Dadda's petting technique.
This is me and Dadda with the big bunny. He was really soft. Mama had to teach me not to pull on its ears.
This is me, Dadda and the baby pot bellied pig. He was funny, he wagged his tail the whole time that I petted him. I loved petting all the animals. They look just like the ones that I have read about in my books.

Catching Up
My new favorite food is spaghetti. This is usually what I look like after I eat it. I am not sure if you can tell, but I think spaghetti sauce is a good thing to style your hair with. Don't knock it until you try it. I also usually get it all the way up to my armpits and laugh and laugh as Mama tickles me trying to get it off.
This is me after I get all clean. My Aunt Candi sent me this towel. I think I look awesome in it. I have just learned to roar like a lion and a tiger. It is the only animal sound I can do, but man, do I sound awesome when I do it.
